I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010 after completing an Honour's Bachelor degree and then a Master's Degree in Animal Welfare. I joined Mitchell Animal Hospital right after graduation and then returned in 2013. I became a partner with Gerald in 2021.

I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, from wellness and fitness consultations, to geriatrics and senior care, internal medicine, surgery and to urgent care as well.  

As a commitment to exceptional care and ongoing learning, I completed my Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist course which included over 140 hours of classroom work in the USA and then an internship. This is not a course for the faint of heart! However, I love how I can integrate this knowledge into both every day practice and our on-site Canine Rehabilitation facility.

I have had a variety of pets through my life, all of whom own a piece of my heart in a way that only pet lovers like you and I can truly understand.   Veterinary medicine is ever changing and evolving and I find the variety of patients we treat fascinating: from tiny kittens to Great Danes, from exotic cats to Bulldogs, from hairless felines to the fluffiest of Doodles, they all have a special place in the heart of Mitchell Animal Hospital.  

In my spare time, I can be found spending time with my 2 little boys, dogs and husband, traveling, exploring the Muskoka’s and making soap (it’s very therapeutic, artistic and satisfying!).
