Traditional Chinese Medicine
We offer individualized Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine consultations that complement conventional veterinary care through a collaborative, whole-pet approach tailored to your pet’s health history and needs.
A whole-pet approach to supportive care
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) offers another way to support your pet’s health and wellbeing. Using Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine alongside conventional veterinary care, we take an individualized approach based on your pet’s health history, current concerns and overall needs.
Meet Dr. Natsuko
Dr. Natsuko works collaboratively with you and your pet’s regular veterinarian to develop a thoughtful care plan that blends Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine with conventional Western veterinary medicine.
Rather than replacing your pet’s existing veterinary care, TCM can be incorporated as part of a broader, complementary approach tailored to your pet.
What is Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine?
Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine uses carefully selected combinations of herbs based on an individual patient’s needs. Each pet is assessed as a whole, taking into consideration their medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle and existing treatment plan.
Herbal therapy may be explored as supportive care for pets experiencing a variety of health concerns or as part of an ongoing wellness plan.
Because every pet is different, recommendations are individualized and may evolve over time based on your pet’s response and changing needs.
Working with your veterinarian
Collaborative care is an important part of our approach.
We request records from your regular veterinarian so that Dr. Natsuko can thoroughly review your pet’s medical history, current medications, diagnostic results and existing treatment plan before making recommendations.
This helps ensure Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine is incorporated thoughtfully alongside your pet’s conventional veterinary care.
