Individualized Surgical Care
Every pet is unique, and their surgical care should be, too. Each surgical patient has a dedicated veterinary team overseeing their care, from pre-operative assessment through anesthesia, surgery, and recovery.
Anesthetic and pain management protocols are carefully tailored to your pet, taking into account their age, overall health, medical history, and the procedure being performed. Throughout surgery and recovery, our team closely monitors your pet to help maintain their safety, comfort, and well-being.
We take the time to explain the process, answer your questions, and help you feel informed and supported every step of the way.
Advanced Orthopedic Surgery
Some orthopedic conditions require specialized surgical expertise. For more complex bone and joint procedures, we work with a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to provide access to advanced surgical care.
Depending on your pet’s needs, these procedures may include patellar luxation repair and Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO), a specialized procedure commonly used to treat cranial cruciate ligament injuries in dogs.
By collaborating with an orthopedic specialist, we can help ensure your pet receives an appropriate surgical plan tailored to their condition and individual needs.
Supporting Your Pet Through Recovery
Your pet’s care doesn’t end when surgery is complete. A comfortable, well-supported recovery is an important part of the healing process, and our team is here to guide you through it.
Before your pet goes home, we’ll provide individualized discharge instructions covering important aspects of their recovery, including pain management, activity restrictions, incision care, medication administration, and recommended follow-up appointments.
We’re also available to answer questions and help address concerns throughout the recovery process, so you can feel confident supporting your pet as they heal and gradually return to their normal activities.
