I've been a veterinarian since before Google existed. I also have degrees in biology, agriculture, and education, which basically means I can tell you why your dog’s limping, grow you a tomato, and explain it all in a PowerPoint. I spent a decade teaching vet students at OVC, now I'm wrangling future vet techs at Conestoga College when I'm not working at Mitchell Animal Hospital.

What I enjoy most about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to care for animals and support the people who love them. It’s a privilege to be part of that connection. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the garden - it’s a peaceful counterbalance to the pace of clinical life.
