Abby

Abby is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician Program at Georgian College in 2025 and joined the team at Mitchell Animal Hospital in June 2026. Abby has special interests in cytology, palliative care and comfort, animal welfare/rescue, and animal rehabilitation. She is also Fear Free Certified, reflecting her commitment to creating positive, low-stress experiences for both pets and their families. 

Outside of the hospital, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.  She is also a cat-momma to her rescue cat Tommy, and is a proud "crazy-cat-lady!"
