One of my earliest memories is of my two budgies flying freely around the house and stopping to perch on my head every time they got tired. As a young girl, I always had a passion for animals - from rescuing worms following rainfall to rehabilitating raccoons for release into the wild, these interactions all continued to hold a special place in my heart. My parents were kind enough to allow me to care for all sorts of pets as a child, such as turtles, frogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, and a snake! To no surprise, my upbringing drove and encouraged me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. In 2017, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and minor in Marketing Management. Throughout those years, I volunteered at Mitchell Animal Hospital on my days off. In 2022, I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and shortly after, I returned to Mitchell Animal Hospital to join the amazing team as a veterinarian! I have never felt so fortunate to be surrounded by such like-minded individuals who also genuinely love what they do on a daily basis.

My particular interests within veterinary medicine include neurology, pain management, rehabilitation, senior pet care, and integrative medicine.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as my two dogs, Russell and Pluto, and pet snake, Slither. I like to go rock climbing to stay active and travelling is always on my list of things to do! I have backpacked across Europe and Asia and I hope to see more of the world every year.
