Becoming a veterinarian was something I knew I wanted ever since I realized, a veterinarian is the job that helps animals! Since then, there was no looking back! As a little girl, animals were my world and I always wanted to help and spend time with them. Whether it was playing veterinarian for my pets at home, volunteering at the humane society, horseback riding or adopting endangered species through WWF (with my allowance money); I have always loved and cared for animals. 

After completing my Bachelor of Science degree with Honours Biology at the University of Waterloo, I spent 4 years in Guelph at the Ontario Veterinary College and graduated in 2020. Since then I have been practicing as a veterinarian which is incredibly rewarding! I love walking into an appointment room to greet a happy wagging tail, it is the best way to start my day!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, family and friends. My two dogs Jacey and Dexter are my little shadows, we are pretty much attached by the hip and do everything together! I love getting outdoors, travelling, going to the gym and keeping up with some hobbies such as cooking, dancing and horseback riding. Furthermore, I am striving to be the “fun auntie” with my two little nephews. 

I am very thrilled to be working at Mitchell Animal Hospital and excited to work with the amazing staff, clients and patients!
