I grew up in a small city in Poland but spent most of my weekends and summers on my grandparents' and my aunt's farms. From a very young age, I remembered the name of every cat and dog in our neighbourhood. I loved helping my grandparents, my aunt, and her husband, take care of the animals on their farms. I was always so impressed when the veterinarian came to take care of the sick animals. At 10 years old, I decided I want to be the person that cares for my grandfather’s sick animals and my journey began. Instead of high school, I attended Veterinary Technical School and upon graduation, I became a veterinary technician.

I was going to start university to become a veterinarian but life took me on a different path – my family and I immigrated to Canada. This didn’t stop my dream. After a few years, I started attending the University of Guelph. I graduated with honours from Ontario Agricultural College in 1998, and then from Ontario Veterinary College with honours in 2002. Since then, I have been blessed to work in several different clinics, meeting people from all walks of life and their furry companions. I joined Mitchell Animal clinic in 2016.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my daughter and my husband camping in great North Ontario, go bike riding, or just enjoy walks. I also enjoy a good read; mystery books are always my favorites. We are lucky to share our house with an amazing Chihuahua named Mika and our one-eye crazy cat Blink the latest addition to our family.
