margin_inside_page.gif (8674 bytes) Various sizes of kennels allow for housing of pets.   The kennels are divided into four wards.  One ward is dedicated solely to cats, thereby reducing stress from barking dogs.  Dogs are housed in the other 3 wards.  One is set up with mid-sized kennels for dogs of small and medium sized breed.  A second contains larger kennels with enough space to house the large and giant breed patients.  The third ward is used mainly to house pets in for grooming, thereby keeping healthy animals away from the sick patients.

Although the kennels allow enough room for pets to stretch out comfortably, the problem of defecation and urination does arise.  Adjacent to the kennel area are numerous large runs which are used to provided limited exercise and elimination.
